Ebola Spreads To Senegal
According to reports, Senegal has now recorded its first case of the Ebola disease.
This was confirmed yesterday, August 29, 2014 by the country’s Health Minister, Awa Marie Coll-Seck.
The minister said that a young Guinean had tested positive for the deadly virus and had been quarantined.
The patient, a university student in Conakry, is said to be in a “satisfactory condition”.
This year’s Ebola outbreak started in Guinea and has now spread to Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
