A 19-year-old boy in Ondo has come under public scrutiny after allegedly raping a chicken.
The unnamed suspect was said to have been caught after the animal’s owner, one Mrs. Stella Akintola heard noises coming from her chicken coop.
On further inspection she discovered that it was the suspect and when she demanded an explanation, he told her that he had gone to use the toilet.
Mrs. Akintola said:
“I shouted to know who was still at the backyard only for him to appear from the corner of the house, saying he went to the toilet because he had a running stomach.”
“It was when I visited the toilet that I found one of them stone dead with its feathers littering the floor,”
When he saw that he had been found out, he confessed the owner that he had sex with the chicken.
According to reports, the teen was sent away from his home in the Afo area of the state because he had done the same thing to a goat.
He said:
“I was already sleeping when a spirit just came upon me and directed me to go to the back of the building. I did not know what I was doing again until when I discovered that I had slept with the hen.”
The owner of the chicken said she had no interest in reporting the matter to the police.
