Singer unhappy with N500K as Olamide nabs N1.5m for ‘Sebee remix’

Singer, Oritsefemi is reportedly unhappy with the management of Bugatti Records for paying him N1m lesser than Olamide’s fee to feature on the same track, Sebee remix.

This tale is coming weeks after the release of the song by upcoming act, Sossi, which features Olamide and Oritsefemi.

According to a report by Vanguard, the large disparity in the fee of the top acts for featuring on the song allegedly angered Oritsefemi , who recently got wind of the amount paid Olamide.

The report further stated that management of Bugatti records allegedly paid Olamide N1.5 million while Oritsefemi got N500,000.

The disparities in the fee, according to Vanguard, have angered Oritsefemi when he got to know about it.

‘He’s believed to be angry with Sossi and his management over their decision to pay him less fee as against Olamide, who he perceived to be his junior in the music industry,’ a Vanguard source disclosed.

While Oritsefemi and Olamide have refused to make comments on the allegation, Sossi’s manager, Michael, said he was not aware of the development, promising, however, to look into the matter.
