Man sues Marlon Wayans Over Racial Profiling
2014 MAMA Awards host, Marlon Wayans has been sued by a fellow black man and actor for racial discrimination and harassment.
According to gossip site, TMZ, the famous actor may have made a hysterical comparison between another black actor and an animation named Cleveland Brown - Perhaps he was just joking!
Pierre Daniel explains that he was hired for a part in Marlon's film: "A Haunted House 2" and last September Marlon posted a side-by-side photo of Daniel and the animated character Cleveland Brown on social media. The pic was captioned, "Tell me this n***a don't look like ... THIS N***A!!! Ol Cleveland Brown ass lookin."
Even though the two pictures look similar, Daniel says Marlon wasn't cracking a joke ... 'he was essentially cyber-bullying'.
According to the docs filed yesterday, Daniel also says Marlon's post was racially motivated and mocked his appearance, especially his afro. Adding that Marlon was leering at him and rolling his eyes.
Daniel says the comparison seriously injured him by causing "shock, pain, discomfort and/or anxiety" ... and as a result he can no longer work as an actor.
He's suing Marlon and the movie's production company for unspecified damages. Marlon is yet to make a comment.
Can a black man discriminate another black man?
