The ex-wife of actress, Ini Edo’s ex-husband, Phillip Ehiagwina, Ruth Okoro, is sure in a jolly mood at the moment, and her reason is not far-fetched. The actress and model who is now a certified medical administrator in the US, is basking in the saying that the cane that was used in beating the first wife would surely be kept for the second wife.
The actress who is also from Akwa Ibom State, where Ini comes from, was broken hearted when her ‘sister’ was the one who took over her husband some years ago and back then, Ruth had laid a bitter curse, declaring that as long as her God is still alive, the marriage between Ini and her former husband would not last and the scenario that played itself out few weeks ago where Ini Edo and Phillip parted ways, lays credence to the fact that Ruth is now having the last laugh.
Though she has not come out to make a mockery of her fellow ex-wife, those close to her say she has been telling them she knew the marriage would not last, knowing Phillips’ antecedents and that she has been vindicated.
When her marriage broke down due to a myriad of issues including some betrayal from her close friends, Phillip’s two-timing and duping her and abandonment, Ruth was devastated and actually sent Ini Edo an open letter. Letting her know of the hurt she was going through, even letting Ini know that she was the one who took Phillip abroad only for him to use and dump her.
Ruth also warned the star actress about her affair with Phillip, telling her the man was no good and would soon do to her what he is known for: taking advantage of her and dumping her, but Ini would not have any of that, seeing Ruth’s warning as just the ranting of a hurt woman.

Hi Ini, I have information that you are having an affair with my husband, Philip Ehiagwina. He has been deceiving girls all over the place, making them believe he has heaven and earth. You are not the only girl obviously, but Ini watch your back so you don’t regret.
I have nothing against you but a piece of advice. I heard that you might be pregnant for him, if it’s true, good luck. I called your manager and told her everything. You are a very pretty girl and should know how to respect your body and pray for the right husband.
Do not be carried away by flashy things cause that could be deadly too. All that glitters isn’t gold, remember.
True to her warning, Ini did not take heed and today, she has tasted the kind of pains Ruth went through in the hands of the man.
