Checkout top 10 richest sports women

Serena Williams has lost for once.

But that unsurprisingly didn't happen on the tennis court.

In a report released by Forbes on Wednesday, August 12, the 2015 major Grand Slam winner is second on the list of richest sports women in the world.

Coming in first for the 11th straight year is fellow tennis star, Maria Sharapova, who earned $29.7 million from prize money and endorsements between June 2014 and June of this year.

$23 million from that money was made from only endorsements.

Williams who defeated Sharapova at the final of the 2015  Wimbledon made $11.6 million in winnings and $13 million from endorsements.
