D'banj is currently under fire at the moment and surprisingly his 'infamous' music has nothing to with this.
The popular Nigerian pop star is presently struggling to promote his new song/video 'Confidential' and his using the hashtag #Confidential and the 'Shhhh' sign to get the work closer to his 338,000 followers.
As a result, D'banj released the official cover of the new single [August 21] showing him doing the 'Shhh' sign and has been posting photos of other people doing the same sign to help push the song world wide. Unfortunately, one of his posts rather invited unwanted criticism from the same people who call themselves his 'fans'.
D'banj re-posted a picture of Kendall, Kylie and Kim Kardashian doing the same 'Shhhh' sign and captioned: ''#confidential..... Universal!!!'' Fans immediately thought he was saying, the Kardashians are also feeling his latest track.
One fan wrote: ''What's up with this nonsense?''. Another wrote, ''So why are you posting abt d Kardashians. Mchew''. Another dropped, ''what will this add to anyone's life? This family needs to be banned from TV...'' ''Lmao at this post,'' one added. While another said, ''Say hi to Kylie for meeee.''
