Rapper Young Jeezy has been arrested two days after allegedly taking part in a fatal shooting at a Wiz Khalifa concert in Silicon Valley, California, on August 22. The police are demanding $1 million as bail.

The rapper was picked up by the authorities at Khalifa's concert in Irvine, California Sunday night [Aug. 24] alongside five other suspects for possession of an assault rifle.

According to KSAT, 'We Dem Boys' rapper was forced to cancel his Aug. 23 concert in the wake of the shooting which took the life of a man named Eric Johnson, 38. But police arrested Jeezy the day before since he was partnering on Wiz's ongoing tour.

The media reports that, "Mountain View investigators found the weapon on a tour bus after a search warrant had been authorized." Furthermore, all six who had been arrested — including Jeezy — were “cooperative,” said Lt. Saul Jaeger of the Mountain View Police Department.

After the shooting, Wiz addressed the situation on Twitter, telling his 14.8 million followers that 'violence is never the answer'. He wrote:

"This was a senseless tragedy. Violence is never the answer. My prayers go out to the victim’s family."
